Dr. Paul Hand is the Director of the Tapia Camps and the creative mind behind the camp curriculum. He is involved in shaping and constructing impactful STEM projects. Hand collaborates with distinguished STEM experts, including partnerships with industry leaders such as ExxonMobil, to craft projects tailored for students and educators in K-12 and college environments. As a professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, his research interests include machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is interested in math instruction with a focus on how students learn the mathematical problem-solving process.
