2021 INFORMS Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors (DEI) Program Award
The INFORMS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Ambassadors Program brings together groups of academic and practitioner members, graduate and undergraduate students, post-docs, and staff who individually and/or collectively work on initiatives to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive INFORMS community. The program is intended to provide a platform for members to engage in DEI initiatives in a variety of areas including workplace practices, teaching, and research, and leverage our capacities as individuals (practitioners, researchers, educators, students, and staff) to contribute to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion among the broader INFORMS community.
The Computational Thinking and Equity program was developed by the Tapia Center and the Operations Research Team at Google. Read the blog post for more information about the Tapia Camps project that resulted from the INFORMS DEI Ambassadors Program award. 2020 American Mathematical Society Epsilon Award for Young Scholars Programs
In 1999 the American Mathematical Society established the Epsilon Fund endowment to help support summer mathematics programs for mathematically talented high school students. The name for the fund was chosen in remembrance of the late Paul Erdös, who was fond of calling children "epsilons." The goal of the program is to aid and promote programs that support and nurture mathematically talented youth in the United States, and to make these opportunities available to the broad pool of all mathematically talented high school students living in the United States. Awards are made annually to support existing summer programs that touch hundreds of talented and highly-motivated mathematics students.

2019 Eleanor P. Eells Award for Program Excellence by American Camp Association
Eleanor P. Eells Awards for Program Excellence are designed to honor camp programs that:
- Develop effective, creative responses to the needs of people and/or societal problems using the camp environment,
- Encourage continued development of such ideas,
- Stimulate the exchange of creative ideas, and/or
- Present to the public examples of positive contributions camp has made on the well being of individuals and society.
The presentation and networking skills caused me to come out of my shell and become an incredible presenter at conferences and before advisory boards, increasing my confidence as well as showing me that I thrive most in a diverse group of people not just STEM people.
